Brise Cardian No. 2 (I knit the first version of this in 2018) in Elsbeth Lavold silky wool.
Candied Orange Almond Cake (with blood oranges) from Taproot Issue 49: REFRESH. The reveal of this cake is magical.
Camisole top to test some techniques for the Saltwater Slip by Friday Pattern Co. I used ice-dyed vintage tablecloth from TillieGirlStudio and worked to incorporate the hem of the tablecloth into the hemline of the garment.
One technique I wanted to try was lining the front bodice, and I’m pleased with the result.

So many inspiring and thoughtful things in this episode. I have knit Susan’s butterfly and cocoon pattern – very similar, in design and in play fun. I see the butterfly popping up around our grandsons’ house in random places 4 years later. And that cake! And the gorgeous finishing on the cami (such a good idea to line it!).

I know you’re a fan of natural shades but purple really suits you, and I’ll bet that Brise cardigan and your beautiful new Slip Camisole will make a wonderful combo. The ice-dyed fabric is so, so special.
