In this episode, I talk about projects I’ve been working on (and completing) this spring. There’s knitting, sewing, cooking, and a poem in celebration of #memademay.
POEM: “Featherweight” by Chase Twichell in May 16 2022 issue of The New Yorker.

So many inspiring and thoughtful things in this episode. I have knit Susan’s butterfly and cocoon pattern – very similar, in design and in play fun. I see the butterfly popping up around our grandsons’ house in random places 4 years later. And that cake! And the gorgeous finishing on the cami (such a good idea to line it!).
Great episode! Lovely to rediscover your podcast. Listening to your voice felt like coming home.
Hi there!
I think you should knit whatever brings YOU joy. I am drawn to your podcast for much more than your knitting. Your aesthetic appeals to be on many levels and the thought you out into the execution of your FOs is intriguing. You never really make the same thing twice…
Thanks for sharing and helping me reflect and grow too.
I know you’re a fan of natural shades but purple really suits you, and I’ll bet that Brise cardigan and your beautiful new Slip Camisole will make a wonderful combo. The ice-dyed fabric is so, so special.
