Episode 116: The Fuel that Feeds You
This episode includes Chinwaggin’ and an extended Off the Shelf segment. I’m pleased to have finally, FINALLY figured out the technical glitches that were preventing recent episodes from pushing to feedburner and iTunes. This week, I’m knitting on socks and a lace weight tank top. Samuel and I visited the Steel City Fiber Fest and selected yarn for a future project, Túngata by Stephen West. And, I’ve been cooking with leafy greens. Most of my time has been spent getting ready for the upcoming Farm & Fiber Tour Getaway in Greenwich, NY.

Judy, what an accomplishment in weaving. Wow. Are you blogging about this experience? I would love to see some photos and learn more about your coursework! This summer, I hope to do a little more in the way of weaving. Congrats on the floor loom and thank you for taking the time to leave a message here. Based on the enthusiasm of the response to this year’s retreat, I will be hosting again next year. I hope our paths will cross at some point.

After two years of podcasting, my voice is growing more relaxed. I’m used to public speaking, but often I’m speaking to groups of teenagers. It is difficult to cure myself of “teacher voice” for the podcast.
Making this podcast has helped me grow thoughtful and reflective about what I’m doing, because I have begun thinking about my cooking and crafting through the lens of the podcast. I really appreciate your note.
I’d like to leave you a cheerful review on iTunes but can’t figure out how to do it. It used to be easy. It’s probably me but I’d love to find out how and do it.
Do you belong to the North Country Spinners Guild? I attended a retreat of theirs a couple of years ago and enjoyed myself thoroughly. I think you might as well. It would be totally awesome to actually meet you. I live in Philadelphia.
I enjoy your podcasts. I especially like how you related to the Steiner or Waldorf system. I’m interested in more of that. I don’t know whether you pace your speaking in person as you do your podcast. I notice that in recent podcasts your voice is more flowing. I want to hear you feeling even more relaxed.

It’s so good to find you back! Actually I discovered Le Petit Lapin in my podcast feed yesterday and greedily digested every morsel but ran out of time to leave a comment! So, imagine my delight in finding yet another podcast today!! You never disappoint!!! I so wish I could go along on your wonderful upcoming fiber weekend. I literally drooled when you recounted last year’s visit, and now you are taking along 20 lucky listeners! I’d love to attend next year…..maybe I can swing it somehow, but you are a ways away from Georgia. So, you can put me down as a maybe/wannabe!

I’m about to complete my first semester of weaving at the University of North Georgia!! See how you’ve inspired me!! What’s even better is, we are driving to Florida next week to pick up my very own Macomber floor loom!! YIPPEEEE!! So I will weave at home all summer….and then return to school next Fall for another semester.
