Episode 341
Holding three yarns together throughout, to achieve an Aran-weight yarn, I knit this Orbital Jumper entirely from scraps and leftovers. In this episode, I give some tips for getting this marled effect, and how I kept sleeves and body relatively consistent. Here’s a LINK to my IG video.
BEFORE: This space is overcrowded and disorganized. There’s too much visual clutter and not enough room to work. In addition to all of the items you can see here, there is more disarray behind the desk. Because of its position against a wall, only one of the leaves of my cherry table folds out, making it less than ideal as a cutting surface.
AFTER: Swapping the location of my desk and work table was the key to turning this corner into a functional crafting space. I purchased 3″ lifts for the table legs, wrapped all my fabric onto bolts with labels detailing fiber content, width and yardage, and added some hooks in strategic spots to store large items.
